The Leland C. and Mary M. Pillsbury Institute for Hospitality Entrepreneurship was named with a gift from Leland Pillsbury ‘69 and his wife, Mary Pillsbury. In 2006, the Pillsbury's announced plans to donate $15 million to the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration. This will be the largest single gift ever made to the school and one of the largest ever in hospitality education. The gift supports the Institute, where faculty and proven entrepreneurs will help students develop the knowledge and skills to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams.
